Belgisch kampioen Niko Eeckhout (Chocolade Jacques-Topsport Vlaanderen) heeft de eindzege behaald in de UCI Europa Tour. Zaterdag publiceerde de Internationale Wielerunie (UCI) de eindstand, en daarin heeft de West-Vlaming een voorsprong van 21 punten op de Duitser Danilo Hondo. De Italiaan Rinaldo Nocentini is derde op 127 punten.

De Waele
In de top-50 staan nog drie Belgen: Bert De Waele (13de), Johan Coenen (32ste) en Frederik Willems (36ste). Italië staat helemaal bovenaan de landenrangschikking, voor Duitsland en België. Het Italiaanse Acqua & Sapone wint de ploegenranking, voor Unibet.com en het Russische Omnibike Dynamo Moskou. Chocolade Jacques-Topsport Vlaanderen is vijfde en Landbouwkrediet-Colnago 15de.
